I wasn't sure if I would be growing this year. Lots of crazy stuff in life right now, with possible changes in the future. But since that future is murky right now, I thought, "what the heck, might as well grow." So here we are again. I reached out to Ralph Laub and get some seeds from his state record 2,289 pound pumpkin because Ralph is a nice guy, that seed has some good genetics and I was looking for something that can produce a pretty, orange pumpkin and Ralph got that in the pumpkins he grew from this seed last year. I'm not growing competitively this year, but I'm excited to see what these seeds can do. I built some new hoop houses, because my last hoop houses had finally died after 10 years and we are off to the races!
